Housing Department
It is the goal of the Housing Department to provide quality service to all Tribal Members. Services are provided in compliance with the 2 CFR 200 NAHASDA guidelines to ensure fairness for all Tribal Members in regard to eligibility for assistance.
Initial Application Process
All Tribal Members interested in using services offered by the Housing Department must request and obtain an Assistance Application from the Housing Department. No appointment is necessary to obtain or submit an Assistance Application. Housing Department staff are available to assist members with completion of the application or any questions throughout the intake process. The completed application must be accompanied by proof of income for all household members from all sources, not dated over 30 days from the date of the application. Tribal ID must also be submitted with a complete application. Each program has specific documentation requirements.

Programs are for Low Income Tribal Members, rent or proposed rent can not exceed 30% of the applicant’s gross monthly income.
