On March 2nd our Upper Lake High School Native American Club took a road trip to Sacramento to visit colleges in the area. The morning visit was at Cosumnes River College where students took a campus tour of the theatre arts, the photography studio and were gifted free lunch through the First Year Experience program.
After that visit the youth were shuttled to Cal State University Sacramento for another tour and met with a panel of diverse students to chat about their college experience. We’re grateful for all the work, coordination and consideration for these events to give our students this opportunity.
